In the week of 21 to 27 September 2026, 1,742 lots were offered at auction across the UK, against 2,253 the week before. The median guide price was £135,000, against £120,000 the week before, and 36% of lots with a guide were guided under £100,000.

A quieter week by volume, but a firmer one by guide: the median moved up to £135,000 even as the catalogue shrank by 511 lots. Wednesday 23 September carried 590 lots and was the heaviest day of the week, built on Town & Country Property Auctions with 161 lots and Online Property Auction Group with 62. Thursday 24 September was close behind on 535 lots, where BidX1 held 131, Auction House 127 and Future Property Auctions 73. Auction House was the busiest source across the week with 329 lots, spread over more than one day.
The week’s biggest lots
- Rocket Auctions had the largest guide of the week on Wednesday 23 September: Great Stair & Library, Cour D’honneur, Oakham, a freehold residential lot guided at £3.9 million.
- Town & Country Property Auctions brought a run of large guides to the same Wednesday: 67 Bondway, London, leasehold residential, guided at £2 million; Haddockston Trout Fishery, Houston, Johnstone, residential, also guided at £2 million; Morrison Street, Glasgow, residential, at £1.7 million; and Come to Good House, Feock, Truro, freehold residential, at £1.4 million.
- BidX1’s Thursday 24 September sale held the London end of the top ten: 34 Norfolk Crescent, Tyburnia, London, leasehold residential, guided at £2.2 million; Greenwich High Road, London, freehold residential, at £1.575 million; and Anson Road, London, freehold residential, at £1.25 million.
- Auction House offered Portsonachan Lodges, Dalmally on Thursday 24 September, freehold residential, guided at £1.735 million.
- YOPA West London listed Merton Avenue, London on Friday 25 September, freehold residential, guided at £1.35 million.
London led the week with 78 lots, followed by Birmingham, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Nottingham.
